Market and Prospect streetsAmsterdam's other truss is located near the city center. If you go further south, you will drive down a steep hill. Amsterdam, like Albany, has a downtown and some neighborhoods that are on the same level as the river, while some of the residential area is on higher ground. The signal is a GE unit; note the control box on top of the signal. It looks like Crouse-Hinds manufactured it. Photo taken 4 July 2002. |
