Don't overlook this one!

One block north of the famed signal is another notable antique that has not had the same recognition. And it is a little different, because of the very long visors. This unit, located at East/West Main and Church streets, is a W.S. Darley signal, and it was manufactured in the 1930s. The signal is green, but it seems the attached full visors might have originally been yellow, since some is showing on a visor (see right). Photos taken 4 July 2002.
