Near the meat plant

This view is looking east, on Sand Creek Road.

Sand Creek
and Everett Road

When proceeding east on Sand Creek Road, the last major intersection is at Everett Road, which is wedged between Central Avenue to the south and Albany-Shaker Road to the north. Both roads lead to the City of Albany; Sand Creek does not.

This intersection is unusual. The pagoda signal in the center is an Eagle unit, and is painted green. The control box (at left) is yellow colored, with a silver top. It appears to be a county installation. It is certainly located near the Tobin meat plant. Photos taken 3 October 2002.
