Relics in suburbia

Colonie is a suburban town in Albany County, much like so many other suburban towns in New York State (Amherst, Henrietta, Irondequoit, Liverpool and Vestal). It has older neighborhoods which, interestingly, retain vintage signal installations. Sand Creek Road had plenty of them in 1981; it still has some even today.
