Vintage GE blinker

Hill at S. Kingsbury streets

In the outer part of the city is this vintage GE blinking signal, flanked by two Marbelite units. Note the dome top of this signal, which is 65-70 years old; also, the panel on the right of the signal (where the lens would be—this is a three-way signal) has a raised "GE" logo. While the paint has faded on this unit, it remains a handsome unit. Saratoga Springs used to have such a signal or two, painted yellow, as late as 1965. Photo taken 4 July 2002.

Closer to downtown is a truss installation, with one newer unit. An example of a beautiful fixture.
