The beauty of a truss

North Main Street and Second Avenue

There is something to be said about the clean lines of a stainless-steel A-frame truss. At this intersection, the truss on the right probably dates from the 1960s or early 1970s. But the one on the left, in both pictures, is much more recent, perhaps within the last two years. One can see the really clean design of this unit. Very classy! Photos taken 4 July 2002.
