School blinker

West Circular Street at West Circular Court

Saratoga Springs High School was constructed on its present site on the city’s West Side in 1965. This blinker was erected not long after, and was repainted in December 1979/January 1980. The yellow paint is starting to show after all these years, but the signal is good. Photo taken 5 July 2002.

The signals that defined a generation. They now face replacement, by the Class of 2002.

The city’s last remaining fixed 4-way signal is about to retire, courtesy of the Class of 2002.

A story behind this ancient truss.

Almost the same age as the high school.
