Something unexpected

View is looking east on Round Lake Road, on a very hazy 4 July 2000.
This view is looking south, down Raylinsky Road, on 3 October 2002.

Round Lake at Ruhle/Raylinsky roads, near Round Lake

Saratoga Springs used yellow-colored signals from roughly the late 1930s until 1978, when a yellow/black signal was installed at Spring and Court streets (now gone).

Oddly, these signals were installed in the Town of Milton, probably around 1998-2000. Yellow signals in a nonurban setting are unusual, although it can occur (as in Dryden). Round Lake Road intersects I-87 at Exit 11.

A dramatic view looking west.
